My passion for helping people is what inspired me to open The Counseling Center back in 1995. My goal is to help people find more positive and meaningful lives. I have been a therapist for over 25 years and have worked closely with individuals of all ages who have experienced the following:

I began my career as a Senior Clinical Therapist at the Colorado Boys Ranch in La Junta, CO back in 1989. I moved to Texas and became a Drug Treatment Specialist and National Trainer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. I have worked with people of all different backgrounds, including juvenile and adult criminals, as well as resistive and difficult to treat individuals. Many who have experienced severe trauma, grief as well as people struggling with day to day life issues.
